Due to our continued growth, we are looking for Network Performance Analysts to join our team!
This is an exciting role and as a Network Performance Analyst, you will be working closely with Ofgem and other DNOs (Distribution Network Operators) to ensure the accurate reporting of Network data while also offering data and analysis internally to drive the business forward.
This role is a unique opportunity to be part of the team and gain access to a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can tailor their approach to the audience, and relay complex messages in an easy-to-understand manner.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Weekly reporting: Deliver the weekly Network Performance reports taking a leading role for auditing, corrections, and working alongside other teams to improve reporting accuracy for both HV and LV fault reporting.
- Monthly Internal Reports and KPIs: This requires internal auditing, alongside feedback and guidance to Control Staff, Dispatch Staff and Depots.
- As part of the role, there is a necessity to develop the systems and processes used inside the team and outside. This requires testing on various systems, attendance at training courses and rolling these developments out.
- You will also be responsible for overseeing the Reg 31 and REG 32 submission process to the HSE, in accordance with the ESQCR’s. This involves correctly identifying, reportable incidents that may have occurred.
- You will play a key role in the accurate reporting of planned supply interruptions ensuring the weekly data set submitted to Ofgem for the broader measure survey scheme are accurate.
- You will be responsible for identifying and making Guaranteed Standards payments in accordance with The Electricity (Standards of Performance) Regulations 2015
Your Skills and Experience
To ensure you get the most from your role, we are ideally looking for applicants with the following experience:
- Knowledge of compliance requirements for fault reporting.
- A good understanding of DNOs and the Regulator, and how the Energy market works.
- Previous experience with internal auditing/reporting and compliance. Knowledge of using systems such as Excel, SIMS and Electric Office would be beneficial.
- The ability to analyse data to identify problems and find resolutions.
- Experience of working alongside regulatory bodies such as Ofgem and other DNO’s.
