Base Location: We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots in the South of England or Scotland.
Salary: £44,195 - £50,611 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available - hybrid working
In your role as a Connections Trainer you will be responsible for the development and delivery of training to the Connections business.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Connections business by providing innovative training solutions to maintain and improve compliance and communicate out new policy and process changes.
- Being a stakeholder within various projects, seeking to find methods to improve performance data through training.
- The role requires you to be able to work on your own; often engaging with Connection Managers, Policy Engineers and the Quality Team to determine exact training requirements.
- You will demonstrate creative flair in content creation; working to produce first class presentations, workbooks and educational videos/podcasts.
- Design training to impact the specific target audience and then deliver the training to the identified audience. Post training you will track your success criteria to ensure the business goal is achieved.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Training delivery and development experience or someone who has electrical distribution design experience with an aptitude for coaching and mentoring.
- Strong communication skillset is essential as training is delivered in various forms to all levels within the business and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Experience producing educational videos/podcasts will be significantly advantageous.
- LV and HV design knowledge. Although not essential, this would add value to the overall dynamic of the team. Upon application, please give an indication as to whether you have this experience and, if so, to what level.
- Training accreditation, electrical engineering qualifications or relevant business experience is desirable. Additionally, an understanding of electrical distribution and distribution regulations is also desirable but not essential.
It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence
