About the Role
Base Location: Dublin.
Salary: €101,600 – €152,400 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The Head of Finance is a member of the Airtricity Leadership team, who manage the Customer facing business in Ireland covering both ROI & NI, across 5 different brands (& companies). The role has responsibility for all aspects of Finance across the Airtricity business.
The role is focussed on reporting financial performance, provision of business analysis, insight and ongoing performance monitoring, ensuring robust financial control including management of the external audit, budgeting & forecasting activities, performance improvement and important business planning.
The Head of Finance is responsible for the accountabilities listed below for the Airtricity businesses and is therefore the prime Finance point of contact for the Airtricity MD, advising them on the financial impact of key decisions, and has ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of management reporting;
- As key member of the Airtricity Leadership Team, make strategical and functional decisions for the business, by providing financial advice, challenge & support across the organisation.
- Deliver consolidated reporting of accurate and reliable results to the Airtricity management team, the Customer Exco and Group team. Review variance analysis at the business level ensuring results are understood, communicated to the Business and driving plans to address any material commercial variances.
- Own the Annual Budget and Monthly forecasts for the Airtricity business. This includes stakeholder sign off, financial insight and challenge to ensure budgets are accurate, realistic, and aligned with observed performance and the broader Customer strategy.
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of regulatory and external reporting which includes statutory accounts, price control submissions, annual and quarterly submissions to the Energy regulators in ROI & NI and any additional regulatory requirements that may arise (e.g. Government grant requirements, RFIs etc).
- Provide insight and analysis to support project work, for example the ongoing transformation work across both Finance & the delivery of the new billing platform, performance improvement, risk reduction and control initiatives.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have the following:
- Fully qualified accountant with significant Post Qualified Experience in a Head of Finance / Financial Controller / Senior Business Partner role with experience of solving business issues of similar scale and complexity.
- Previous experience in developing, motivating and leading a diverse, and potentially multi-locational team of 13.
- Clear and effective communication of financial performance to operational colleagues to embed financial understanding within the -business.
