Base Location: Dublin or Belfast
Salary: €64,000 - €96,000 (ROI) or £41,400 - £62,000 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 12-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
SSE Airtricity are embarking on an exciting transformation programme (Project Genesis) and we’re looking for a Product Manager for Data. You will be focused on maximising business value and return on investment to achieve business goals. You’ll act as the voice of the business and possess a unique blend of business and product savvy, as well as having a big-picture vision, and the drive to define and make that vision a reality.
In this role you will:
- define the product vision and roadmap aligned with company strategy and customer/user needs for a specific business area(s)
- be responsible for the alignment of business needs and objectives in relation to data, migration and reporting are successfully delivered
- set business priorities and maintain a prioritised business backlog of requirements (Business Needs/Features)
- support Agile delivery by being a single point of contact for the business and between 3rd parties, IT, and the Genesis programme
- consult with relevant business stakeholders to define the required products based on business needs and best practice. You’ll test the developed solution against requirements, assess the potential impact to operating models and business objectives, and prepare the business for change (including training)
- commit to an agile way of working and play an active role in creating and promoting innovation, a culture of continuous improvement and growth mind-set (test & learn)
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- the ability to demonstrate deep understanding around data, data models and the technology around reporting solutions
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present proposals in a clear and concise manner and build strong stakeholder relationships
- a solution oriented and results-driven mindset, who can deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment
- the ability to execute to schedule on assigned work with attention to quality & detail
- resilience and enthusiasm, with a natural interest in continual improvement and innovation
- a willingness to undertake appropriate training and development to develop Product Manager skills and expertise
