What is the role?
SSEN Distribution has an opportunity for a Frontline Support Analyst in our Mobile Technology Team within Distribution IT, Technology Digital And Data (TD&D) as part of our wider Cyber Resilience Programme for Operational Technology and Information Technology.
The main purpose of the Frontline Support Analyst role is to be the single point of contact, within the selected Distribution region for all things Mobile Technology and Digital applications ensuring technology is embedded into our workforce.
The key duties & responsibilities will be:
- Upskill and coach others in mobile technology and applications.
- Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with teams across Distribution and IT TD & D.
- Collaborate closely with the Mobile Technology Managers to have visibility and understanding of existing and future deliverables within the Road Map.
- Support the delivery of new technology in accordance with the appropriate methodology.
- Build a Mobile Technology Community to enable peer to peer support – cascading of communications and capturing/escalating/resolving of issues.
- Proactively working to improve SSEN’s cyber security culture and resilience, actively promoting good practice around cyber security, with a particular focus on phishing.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Excellent communication skills, using Microsoft 365 applications & the natural flair for forging relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Soft skills, with the ability to develop and coach less experienced employees.
- Experience in Mobile Technology hardware (Phones and Tablets) and Digital applications.
- Experience in PowerApp development is advantageous, but not essential.
- Due to requirement to travel between sites, a full and current UK driving license is a requirement.
- This role allows for the progression of your career, following one of many Learning Journey’s. Training will be given to the successful candidate in Agile, Continuous Improvement and Change Management Methodology.
