About the Role
Base Location: Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd, Operations & Maintenance Hub, Wick
Salary: £35,142 - £40,246 depending upon experience+ shift allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
We Currently have an opportunity for a marine co-ordinator to join our team to support our £2.5 Bn Beatrice offshore windfarm in Wick. Beatrice consists of 84 Turbines which can provide power for 450,000 homes. The Operations and Maintenance for the site is run from our £12million state of the art facility at Wick harbour.
Main accountabilities may include:
- Management and Co-Ordination of vessel and personnel movements.
- Focal point for initial Emergency response to any site based incident.
- Communication with vessels and personnel using various systems and methods.
- Monitoring of non Windfarm related traffic within the site using various systems.
- Maintaining offshore profile database system to ensure all site personnel hold correct certification to allow offshore movements
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A recognised trade background such as Skipper / Vessel Master or Engineer or be able to demonstrate a knowledge of working with vessels and marine control.
- Previous experience of working with a Safe System of Work and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be an advantage.
- Outstanding communication skills, with extensive experience of negotiating and influencing multiple stakeholders on a variety of levels of seniority
- Previous experience involving emergency response would be advantageous.
Due to the nature of the role and having safety in mind at all times, the position will be site based at Wick and the successful candidate must reside or being willing to relocate to a reasonable and safe commuting distance to Wick, Scotland to take up the position.
