About the Role

Base Location: Perth, Aberdeen, Glasgow or Inverness

Salary: £55,200 - £83,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The responsibilities of the Lead Offshore Stakeholder Engagement Manager include:

- Understanding Stakeholders: you and your team will conduct thorough analysis to identify, analyse and map all individuals, groups or organisations that may be interested, affected by or have an impact on the development of our offshore Transmission portfolio with project values commonly well in excess of £1bn.

- Planning Engagement: you will be a key interface with the offshore project development and delivery teams and joint venture partners to create and maintain comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans which outline and monitor engagement activities, identify preferred communication methods and ensure transparent and timely engagement with all stakeholders.

- Engagement Delivery: you will be responsible for delivering a range of engagement activities which help our projects achieve consent using a variety of platforms and methods. Acting as an advocate for SSEN Transmission you will proactively work to communicate our strategic aims with identified key stakeholders.

- Continuous Improvement: you will evaluate the success of stakeholder engagement strategies and initiatives and implement continuous improvement in our engagement approach. You will drive the outputs of your team and introduce new ways of working to ensure efficiency and output are maximised and risks are mitigated.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to:

- Have experience in stakeholder engagement, project liaison or public relation roles and leading a team with a strong management track record.

- Have knowledge of the offshore energy sector and its stakeholders and how effective engagement can support the successful development of offshore projects.

- Be able to demonstrate the achievement of business objectives on time through excellence in stakeholder engagement and communication.

- Be able to demonstrate a personal commitment to innovation and to continual improvement as well as the ability to promote creativity within a team.

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey arguments that persuade and influence others, working collaboratively across a broad range of teams and stakeholders.
