The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant - NEC Contract Management, you will play a vital role in successfully supporting infrastructure projects for our clients. Your responsibilities will include providing commercial expertise, managing contract activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
This role requires on-site presence at Nambour, QLD location. Full time on-site is preferred, flexible arrangements assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of NEC contracts, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and administration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulations
- Handle variations, amendments, and change orders in NEC contracts, ensuring proper documentation, approval, and implementation.
- Facilitate resolution of disputes and claims arising from NEC contracts
- Monitor contractor performance and compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables specified in NEC contracts.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams regarding contract requirements, progress, and issues.
- Oversee financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, cost control, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure all activities related to NEC contracts adhere to organisational policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
About You

- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC3 contract suite (essential)
- Familiarity with engineering and Construction contracts, professional services contracts, and term service contracts, etc.
- Proven experience in managing contracts throughout theirlifecycle from initiation to close-out.
- This includes contract negotiation, drafting, administration, and compliance monitoring.
- Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks inherent in NEC3 contracts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
