The Ticketing team at Transport for Greater Manchester are seeking a Ticketing Retail Manager who is passionate about offering best value, choice and efficiency to the travelling public across the Greater Manchester public transport system.
It is an exciting time to be part of the transformation of ticketing in Greater Manchester with the Mayor committed to an ambitious vision of improving access to transport.
Ticketing will play an integral role in helping Greater Manchester’s extensive transport network get back up to full capacity as the region gradually moves through recovery.
As part of the team, you will be responsible for helping the deliver a roadmap for retail, ticketing and customer payments to meet the needs of the people of Greater Manchester; managing and developing a number of our retail ticket services to improve the travelling public’s experience when using public transport across the region.
You will have extensive experience delivering change in the transportation sector and of working constructively with stakeholders across multiple organisations.
You will have demonstrable experience of gathering and analysing complex information into useable briefings for TfGM stakeholders.
You will be adept at creating positive, outcome focussed relationships with internal and external partners and understand the importance of being able to manage complex relationships at senior and operational levels for the benefit of the travelling public.
