The Customer Digital Services (CDS) team at Transport for Greater Manchester are seeking a Test Engineer who is passionate about delivering high quality products to the travelling public and wishes to make their mark in a growing testing department.

Transport for Greater Manchester oversees transport within the city, including buses, rail, and trams. It is dedicated to delivering accurate transport information to make travel easier for anybody travelling within the city of Greater Manchester. It is an opportunity to be part of an organic team with scope for contributing towards the maturity of the testing department within the CDS Team.

As a Test Engineer you will be involved right at the early stages before development begins, writing test scripts to cover edge cases as well the critical paths, including consideration for non-functional requirements. Execution will involve a mixture of systems testing, regression testing and API testing.

You will have experience with logging and managing defects and also be familiar with agile delivery methods. You will also have experience of utilising and implementing Test Engineering best practise and be confident with Continuous Integrations such as GIT, Jenkins or similar.

The salary for this role is £27,582- £32,269 per annum plus a market supplement of £10,600 per annum which is paid monthly and reviewed on an annual basis. Salary will be based upon skills and experience.
