Hello, we're UW
We’re a bunch of great people working together, solving problems and having fun. Together, we strive to find solutions to help the great people around us get on with the things that really matter in life.
How? It’s simple, we take the headache out of essential home services by providing them all in one place – energy, broadband, mobile, and even insurance. That’s one provider, one account, one bill, and lots of savings.
We’re a truly unique FTSE 250 company with a business model that has real social impact at the heart of it. Being a part of the UW community you’ll join a working environment like no other - one where everyone matters - be it our customers, our partners or you, our people.
About the role
UW Partners earn an income by signing up new customers to our bundle of energy, broadband, mobile and insurance services. They also help people to become a UW Partner, and start earning an income.
The Partner Training team is responsible for equipping the Partner network with the skills, and information they need to be great customer gatherers, recruit and successfully onboard new Partners, and thereby build their businesses.
We have 4 key areas of influence: Live training takes place regularly on Zoom with two successful leaders facilitating a variety of training, both routine and also training Partners to use new initiatives and respond to company changes. We have an online platform (Learning Portal) which houses a variety of training resources and online courses. We own the Partner guides and key Partner presentations, and we are also responsible for the Partner Leadership Development Programme and monthly leader calls.
What You’ll Do
- Consulting with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their business objectives and their team’s capability gaps to develop learning strategies and content that build partner capability to achieve our network growth strategy
- Working closely with the Partner Training Manager to produce new training material on a monthly basis. Including consulting stakeholders and subject matter experts, writing content and liaising with the creative department to deliver the end result
- Working with internal teams such as the creative department and the internal L&D team to develop on brand UW content
- Ensuring that current Partner assets are accurate, up to date and delivered in time for launch initiatives. These would include documents (eg Partner and Leader Guides) and presentations (eg Partner Opportunity Presentation)
- Main driver of content of monthly Partner leader calls and local meetings. This includes managing the end to end process from forward planning, setting up the relevant calls, collating important monthly messages and dissemination of content
