About the role
Responsible for managing, training, and assessing all of our front and back office teams and managers within Financial Services (FS) Operations. Within this role you will report into the Quality Assurance and Governance Manager and will have matrix relationships with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to ensure the learning needs of the Financial Services department are being met. You will be supported and mentored by the L&D team and given development to support your role. You will also be a key part of the Performance Coaching community.
What you’ll do
- Look after the overall experience of any new starters into Financial Services (FS) Operations for their first 4 weeks at UW
- Look after the training and coaching experience of our existing advisors, SMEs, team leaders and managers in line with the FS Operations base training framework
- Plan and provide additional support for any new and existing employees who require refresher training or targeted learning
- Design a training curriculum based on the evolving requirements and products within FS, keeping said curriculum current and up to date
- Plan and prepare training and assessment sessions, assisting in the research and development of new topics, courses and teaching materials for online delivery and participation, as required
- Measure outcomes and effectiveness of training on all work streams.
- Ensure all FS personnel undertake any mandatory training required
A bit more about you
- 3+ years experience of training and performance coaching in a Financial Services environment
- Highly organised, meeting all deadlines and managing own workload against the needs of performance coaching.
- A great planner - managing the intake of new starters ensuring they know where they need to be.
- Able to collaborate with other performance coaches and team leaders to determine learning needs.
- Experience/ability to train/facilitate/coach at entry, supervisory and management levels
