***Monday to Friday 15:00 - 22:30 - 35 hours per week***

Salary: £24,374 per annum (includes late and night shift allowance)

Job Purpose
In addition to operating as a cash processor, the Super Operator will monitor the High-Speed Note Sorter cash processing machines and identify the root cause of minor issues whilst reporting larger issues to the onsite engineer. The Super Operator through individual maintenance, will complete fixes in line with Health and Safety through liaison and be provided with specific training.
Main Responsibilities
- Fix and maintain high speed note sorters in line with the training received by Cash Processing Solutions.
- Attend 1 Preventative Maintenance session per month with a Cash Processing Solutions engineer.
- Attend 1 weekly focus meeting per month.
- Promote best practice through the focus meetings both on the HSNS and for cashier preparation of notes.
- If an issue arises attempt to identify basic errors both through individual maintenance and through liaison with the engineer including fixes within parameters.
- Maintain a proactive approach to the monitoring of performance of machines.
- Management of Tool kit and spare parts.
- Other General duties as delegated by Leadership team.
- Effective working relationship with Cash Processing Solutions engineer and team.
- Machinery is maintained within the Health and Safety parameters including regular cleaning.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to the secure waste procedures and Health and safety standards.
- Long periods of standing including manual handling.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job
- Ability to meet individual targets/deadlines;
- Able to work in a fast paced environment;
- Health and Safety awareness;
- Good computer literacy and numeracy skills;
- Good communication skills (verbal & written);
- Organisation and Time Management skills;
- Strong technical knowledge of high speed note sorting machines;
- Adhering to company core standards of behaviour and values;
- Demonstrated operational experience as a high speed note sorter operator.
