About the Role
This role will report directly to the CHPP Manager, and will be responsible for the coordination of all coal-processing activities.
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Develop, implement and maintain coal preparation policy and procedures and programs in compliance with company and statutory requirements
- Implement and maintain continuous improvement process to deliver on operational targets and meet strategic plans for the operation
- Monitor and report costs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, providing input to forecasting activities
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations through shift supervisors and contractors where applicable
About You
To be considered for this role, you should posses the following qualifications and experiences:
- Formal training in Coal Preparation theory and methods
- May hold tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (engineering or science)
- Extensive and demonstrated experience in processing plants (not less than 5 years)
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation
