This role, reporting directly to the CFO, will be the 5th member of a small and fast-paced finance team, which supports a business currently operating in three countries.
The team’s responsibilities will be split into two functional line - Group Financial Reporting (which you will take the lead on) & Operational Finance (led by the Financial Controller).
Responsibilities
- You will lead the production of high quality financial and management information (focussing on the group monthly management accounts), used by the business to monitor and analyse ongoing performance against company objectives. This will provide context and insight to decision makers throughout the business up to Board level.
- You will lead and improve the process of regular interaction with internal stakeholders, communicating performance vs budget and ensuring that everyone within the business has access to accurate management information when required.
- You will take the lead on the business’ statutory reporting and audits, ensuring the timely completion of all audits and compliance with the reporting requirements of all countries the business operates in.
- You will need to be hands on with financial management and be prepared to roll your sleeves up, involving yourself in the day-to-day operations and processing when required . You’ll see getting hands on work done as a real contribution to the company and a great opportunity to get exposure to every area of the business.
- You will play an active role in maintaining and improving strong financial controls, both appropriate for the business now and evolving with the business as it continues to scale.
- You will support the CFO and Financial Controller in determining financial budgets and strategic plans.
