Role Overview:
The Digital Game Sales (DGS) team is part of the Direct-to-Consumer organization that drives revenue and deepens engagement through the nimble use of deep commercial insights, close-knit partnerships, and a holistic view of the full PlayStation content business.
The DGS team’s core responsibility is to drive digital game revenue through a data optimized execution of managing publishers’ titles through the various states of a game’s sales lifecycle.
As a Digital Game Sales Strategist, you will be responsible for emerging as a subject matter expert on an assigned area of the business. You will partner closely with the Digital Games Sales Insights team to develop a deep understanding of the business, with the end goal of identifying and quarterbacking strategies that integrate both industry and consumer insights.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop holistic content lifecycle commercial strategies for add-on, full game, and live services content
- Interface with internal and external partners to craft bespoke commercial strategies aligned with our business objectives
- Partner with the Lifecycle Management team to create recommendations that support all phases of a product’s lifecycle
- Think nimbly to create new opportunities for your area of the business
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of experience crafting data and insights based commercial strategies
- Intimate understanding of the video game industry and digital commerce
- Desire to be part of a dynamic, commercially focused organisation
- International travel and flexible work hours required to support a globally distributed team
