Our Digital Workplace team is looking to add a Platform Infrastructure Engineer in our Eugene, OR location. Reporting to the Head of the Digital Infrastructure, this person will be responsible for the IT infrastructure for primarily the West Coast, but also all the US (when needed). You will also work closely with our global team in the EMEA and APAC regions.
The main responsibilities of the role include IT infrastructure consisting of servers, virtualization, cloud and physical environments along with switching, routing, networking, firewalls, and security architecture.
The role includes an understanding of some or many of the following technologies:
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Single Sign On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Firewall Technologies (Palo-Alto)
- E-Mail / Messaging (Mimecast)
- Infrastructure As Code (Terraform, Kubernetes)
- Backup and Disaster Recovery (Commvault)
- Endpoint Security (WithSecure, F-Secure)
- Networking (Dell, Extreme)
- End Point Management (KACE, INTUNE)
- Dell VxRail Hyperconverged
- Cloud Technologies (AZURE, AWS)
Qualifications
You have a bachelors degree in a related field with you a minimum of two years relevant working experience. You are comfortable handling IT requests/issues/questions on your own (after training). You have experience managing servers and have experience with windows and active directory.
You have some working experience (does not have to be completed) with the following certifications:
- Commvault Certified Professional (CCP)
- VMware Certification (VCA/VCP)
- Azure Certification (AZ-900/104)
