The Protein Product team is one of abcam’s emerging high growth area with increasing customer demand for new and high-quality products. You will be part of a team delivering a revenue KPI executed by global stakeholders throughout the organization including R&D, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing.
The role involves:
- Leverage your expertise in product management or marketing in biological life sciences to develop, position and grow abcam’s protein offering with customers across all segments
- Use analytics software to conduct in-depth analysis when new initiatives are proposed, and to map revenue performance across the protein portfolio, demonstrated in visual form (charts, graphs) both ad hoc and for monthly review meetings
- Support and input into the protein portfolio strategy for both in-house and OEM products to deliver revenue growth in the next three financial years
- Identifying unmet customer needs, gap analysis, and existing barriers to adoption and developing methods to address them
- Competitive landscaping including pricing, positioning, promotion and marketing activities
- Developing financial models to grow the portfolio in both revenue and profit margin
Qualifications
You have a minimum of three years working product analysis, product or project management or product marketing and have experience in a science/biology as it relates to protein expression, protein production, or protein focused assays.
You have a strong attention to detail and have some experience using tableau or a similar data analytics software. You are results-driven with a sense of urgency and a proven track record or delivery in a fast-paced environment. You have a problem solving mindset and experience working in cross functional or horizontal roles.
