Our global talent team is looking for a Global Talent Partner in our Waltham, MA campus. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Talent, this role will focus on providing the people capability required to deliver functional business strategies and will be critical in supporting our leadership teams to develop talent depth and strengthen succession for leadership and critical roles within abcam.
The role involves:
- Co-create and deliver functional talent strategies with functional leadership teams and Heads of HR
- Conduct deep dive talent reviews to identify critical roles, succession strength, top talent, and future leaders
- Work with leadership teams to accelerate the growth of diverse top talent and successors by facilitating stretch appointments and ensuring robust development plans.
- Maximize internal mobility to promote talent depth and breadth
- Engage with functional leadership teams to create functional early careers strategies
- Support the Development team to identify and resolve development skills gaps
- Evaluate and track key KPI’s to ensure continuous improvement
Qualifications
You have talent management experience within a multi-site, global business and have strong relationship building capabilities with senior stakeholders to build credibility, drive action and achieve desired results. Flexibility to travel globally, when needed, will be a part of this role.
You are professional, confident, credible and an enthusiastic team player who is able to work effectively across a multi-site, global team. You are highly organized and have the ability to flex between big picture thinking and detailed analysis where required. You have a strong sense of purpose and commitment.
