Job Description

As we continue our to grow globally, we have a new opportunity for a Global Planner to join our team and be responsible for the management of transfer orders globally between manufacturing sites and distribution offices. The Global Planner will play a critical role in optimizing stock availability around the network (including UK, EMEA, US and APAC) and ensuring products are shipped on time to customers. This is initially for 9 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan transfer orders levels globally and work closely with the logistics offices to ensure resources for picking, packing, and shipping are available and balanced.
  • Maintain accurate and timely communication with distribution offices and monitor and maintain transfer order dates to ensure accurate Global Order Promising.
  • Run daily reports to identify transfer orders in error or pending and lead the resolution with relevant stakeholders (IT, Logistics, SC, CMO…) to minimize delays and disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Proactively identify and resolve data gaps or other issues preventing the timely release and interface of transfer orders (missing prices, planning attributes etc…).
  • Track and report on Lead times related to transfer orders to ensure they are in line with Oracle planning parameters.
  • Manage the SC triage process for transfer orders and ensure operational queries are addressed
  • Lead periodic stock balancing initiatives to ensure optimal stock utilization globally.
  • Review customer orders against stock availability and work closely with the demand management team to ensure shortest fulfilment routes to customers.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and CMO teams to determine the most efficient routes for transportation of goods and minimize costs while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide analysis and insights on transfer order performance to management, and work on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the supply chain.

Qualifications

You will have a degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or relevant experience within either logistics, supply chain or planning. You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and provide insights to management along with strong communication skills and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while being proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with ERP systems (we use Oracle Fusion). You are solutions orientated with the ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions to ensure efficient and timely delivery of transfer orders.

It would be great if you have experience in network planning, inventory management, and transportation logistics, preferably in a global setting.
