Job Description

We are looking for a Credit Specialist (6 month contract) to join our Accounting team in Waltham, MA. This person will be responsible for performing the core day to day activities within AR, specifically for credit checking customers and reviewing the accuracy of customer billing and orders.

The role involves:

  • Responsible for agreeing and reviewing credit limits. Monitoring compliance with a view to proactively dealing with any issues
  • Review accuracy of customer billing vs orders, identifying issues and proactively finding solutions
  • Responsible for matching unallocated customer receipts to invoices where appropriate.
  • Resolve any customer queries as soon as possible in line with department KPI (72 hrs) with reissues being carried out within 72 hours of being identified to us.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with other departments to promote AR shared services.
  • Involvement with new projects and initiatives as they arise.

Qualifications

You have a basic understanding of accounting, specifically AR and credit with at least 6 months experience working within AR or Credit/Collections. You have strong excel skills and are familiar with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

You possess strong numerical and analytical skills and have a strong attention to detail. You have excellent communication skills at any level, with experience working in an office environment.
