About the role:
Abcam is seeking a talented people manager with lab experience to lead a small team in Waltham, MA The primary responsibilities of this role are to (1) Ensure products are delivered on time and at the set quality standard, (2) Develop and motivate continuous improvement (3) Execute cross-functional projects for a rapidly growing product line, and (4) Work cross-functionally to support quality management system and regulatory requirements.

The products are rabbit monoclonal antibodies that have been specifically developed for use in pathology laboratories for immunohistochemical staining of formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain the quality management system according to ISO 13485 and cGMP requirements. Ensure products are delivered on time
- Develop and motivate continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage projects, budgets, and schedules to fulfill top-down and self-developed objectives
- Manage production schedules and inventory levels
Qualifications
You have a master degree with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience in science or engineering (bioengineering, chemical engineering preferred). Or you have a bachelor degree with a minimum of 6 years of industry experience in science or engineering (bioengineering, chemical engineering preferred). You have experience operating in ISO 13485/ISO 9001 and cGMP environments with at least 2 years experience leading and managing people. You have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
