Job Description

The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for RabMAb development by culturing cell lines and providing screening and validation materials for various ELISA, WB, ICC, IHC, FC and IP experiments. Detailed experimental documentation, database entry and report preparation are also required.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and culture frequently used suspension and adherent cell lines.
  • Isolate and culture primary cells according to the validation requests.
  • Prepare cells, cell lysates, and biological samples for downstream antibody screening and validation methods such as sELISA, WB, ICC, IHC, FC and IP.
  • Perform cell treatment experiments to get treated cells and cell lysates according to validation requests.
  • Establish stable cell lines by performing transfection, stable pool generation, single-cell cloning, and selection.
  • Deposit and archive cell lines in the company’s repository cell line bank.
  • Contribute to process and technology improvements.
  • Work closely with scientists and project stakeholders to make project progress smoothly.
  • Update the experimental information on internal database.
  • Manage and regular maintain instruments, equipment, and inventory.
  • Maintain high quality standards within the lab; ensuring the lab is compliant with all external and internal quality standards, and compliance with all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

You will have a Master’s degree or BSc with 3 years experience in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field. You have hands on experiences in mammalian cell culture, ELISA and Western Blot, along with knowledge of Flow Cytometry, IHC and ChIP. You also have the ability to do troubleshooting. Experience in establishing stable cell lines is preferred. You have solid organizational skills including great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. You have rigorous logical thinking and good communication skills along with a strong sense of responsibility. If this sounds like you, apply now!
