Job Summary
Build and maintain data integration capabilities utilizing Mulesoft. Acts as a key resource in ensuring the setup, implementation and health of the Mulesoft integration platform from infancy into a mature system that is centered around providing an amazing user experience.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish best practices, structure and processes to ensure timely executive of high-quality deliverables
- Responsible of Mulesoft platform administration for both CloudHub and AWS servers, including planning, design, installation, development and ongoing maintenance
- Designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or custom connectors.
- Review Mulesoft API projects developed by various development teams to ensure quality and in compliance with established enterprise standards
- Perform code promotion, deployment, release management and configuration management
- Automate manual tasks in Mulesoft platform to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Develop measurements of Mulesoft platform
- Provide DevOps and technical support to various development teams
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting on all Mulesoft applications and resolve issues effectively
- Manage performance monitoring and tuning of Mulesoft platform
- Communicate with the Executive team and other department heads to ensure alignment of priorities.
- Engage other departments to build and maintain strong working relationships that keep everyone aligned to organizational goals and objectives.
Education & Experience Required
- Minimum Required Mule 4 Developer Certified required
- Minimum Required 8+ years in a software development environment required
- Minimum Required 2 years of experience in API design and life-cycle management in Anypoint API manager
- Minimum Required 3+ years build/release and automation (CI/CD or DevOps) experience in Linux or Microsoft platforms
- Minimum Required 4 years of experience as a hands-on Mulesoft release engineer or administrator (CloudHub, AWS and hybrid)
Education & Experience Preferred
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field or a combination of technical skills, DevOps skills, and application integration background
- Preferred 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies required; AWS preferred Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint MQ and a variety of Mulesoft connectors such as Salesforce, SOAP/REST Web Services, File, Database, JMS and other on-premises or third party applications
- Experience using scrum agile development practices
- Effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong organization and decision making
