Job Summary
Researches, writes, prepares and reviews appropriate relevant materials to ensure that all communications and manuals are routed through the appropriate channels for review and approval before distribution and use; adheres to guidelines established by Document Control and Corporate Communications regarding the style and layout of documents; ensures proper notification is communicated out to SMEs, departments, and on the Quality Management System; adheres to all SLA’s created by leadership
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, gather, and verify information to create, revise, and maintain all procedural and process documentation, including gathering primary and/or secondary data and information, compiling and preparing responses, understanding products, projects, requirements documents, identifying audience needs, writing, drafting, editing, and revising documents and communications to meets deadlines
- Acts as documentation expert and consults with the functional areas concerning the best practices for documenting and communicating process and procedural changes; partners with the functional areas to obtain feedback concerning documentation and provides recommendations for improvement in documentation and in increased manual usage

- Works as part of project teams to create new manuals for new procedures and policies; works as a validation specialist through departmental reviews of all procedural documents; Edits, proofreads, and produces assigned materials such as , procedures, policy manuals, determines relevance of general information to keep documentation current; stays abreast of overall department activities and projects; accepts source documents and creates documentation in the desired format; controls distribution of documentation as authorized
