Job Summary

Performs assigned duties under the direction of experienced personnel to gain knowledge and experience in preparation for full time professional opportunities

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with data collection and preparation for the ICS (Insurance Capital Standard), AM (Aggregation Method), and Group Capital Calculation (GCC) data collection exercises, including working with Japan business partners

  • Participates in SOX process walkthroughs, assist with audit inquiries

  • Gains an understanding and possibly assist with Financial Reporting’s month end close such as journal entries, reports, reconciliations, etc.

  • Observes Financial Reporting's second quarter close process

  • Observes and participates in Aflac's Continuous Improvement (CI) initiative

Education & Experience Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Minimum Required Actively pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in related field

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
