Worker Designation – This role is hybrid. This means you will be expected to report to one of our Aflac offices located in Columbia, SC/ Columbus, GA for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
- Basic understanding of business operations, requirements processes, and business modeling concepts
- Good presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal and external customers, including good listening skills
- Ability to successfully manage relationships with customers, IT, and peers
- Ability to document systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user friendly language

Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Zero to two years of job-related work experience
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Education & Experience Preferred
- Project Management Certification or equivalent training
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Participates in Business Process Modeling sessions, acting as a documentor, co-facilitator, facilitator, or subject matter expert; conducts interviews and performs analyses for initiatives, inquiries, and/or projects; conducts preliminary investigation for initiatives, inquiries, and/or project requests; reviews requirements, specifications, tests, and support and training plans to ensure that they are in line with business objectives on projects; facilitates group discussions or decisions that enable the group to reach a decision or achieve a result
- Receives assignments from manager; provides weekly status updates on assignments; seeks manager or project leader for clarification or direction
- Acts as a conduit between business units and IT; recommends product enhancements; manages business unit expectations of initiatives and projects
- Possibly acts as a leader/coordinator on projects of simple to moderate complexity, working with a group producing/originating solutions to improve service; promotes initiatives that normally impact the division, department, and/or business unit
- Performs administrative duties, including but not limited to assisting with and/or developing documentation of project deliverables such as PIR (Project Initiation Request), communication plan, risk mitigation plan, quality plan, cost/benefit requirements and interface specifications, issues/concerns log, project certification log, project checklist, use-case scenario specifications
- Supports project leader and/or business process analyst II in the successful implementation and delivery of projects
- Assists with the coordination of public relations and/or company events and activities; establishes and maintains the organization’s communication systems, such as Intranet, Livelink, bulletin boards, and newsletters
- Performs other related duties as required

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $42,000 - $98,000.
