We are looking for a Security Architect to join our team and support the development and implementation of company-wide security strategies and architectures within enterprise environments. As a Security Architect, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate security risks across the organization, maintaining security strategies and roadmaps, and ensure that security capabilities are in place to protect against potential threats.
Reporting to the Director of Security Architecture you will employ your proven expertise to the support the development and implementation of the cybersecurity strategy and architecture best practices to mitigate risk. Successful candidates will have a technical and business background in cybersecurity architecture and the ability to effectively communicate technical and business risk to appropriate audiences. This role works alongside key stakeholders and partners across Business Units to support security projects & objectives through a collaborative, risk based, approach.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and implementation of cyber security roadmaps and reference architectures for enterprise environments

  • Provide technical support and guidance to leadership and internal customers across the organization related to cyber security architecture best practices.

  • Support the definition of security architectures, frameworks, and standards that align with business objectives and support the overall security posture of the organization.

  • Apply SABSA best practices to design security architectures that are not only technically robust but also aligned with the business goals of the organization.

  • Support network security architecture activities and drive architecture standardization across enterprise and product environments.

  • Assist in the selection of new security technologies alongside security engineering and define secure architecture design for deployment.

  • Review, redesign, and approve architecture designs from other areas of the business to ensure they are secure and meet necessary security requirements.

  • Ensure that security capabilities are in place to protect against potential threats and that they are tested regularly to ensure their effectiveness.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats, and recommend appropriate security measures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity desired or a related field and that relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in an Enterprise Security Architect role.

  • Familiarity with SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) framework is desirable.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts within the network, encryption, and data protection domains

  • Understanding of security technologies, standards, and frameworks, including NIST

  • Experience developing architecture documentation and designs

  • Ability to build presentations for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex security challenges.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to contribute to the organizational strategic thinking beyond the area of responsibility.

  • Demonstrated experience in working with a geographically dispersed team

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
