In 2017, I decided to resume my career in Financial Planning & Analysis in a full-time basis after taking a few years to build a family and raise our daughters. I had over a decade of experience in the Gaming Industry and in Corporate Finance, but I also had a 5-year pause to be a Full Time Mom. Aristocrat gave me the opportunity to get back in my profession, get caught up, and continue to develop. I have been at Aristocrat for almost 6 years now, and I am on my fourth role in the company as Global Gaming Reporting Manager, leading a team of 3-4. I align perfectly with Aristocrat’s values and culture. I love to work in a People First Company, and I feel blessed for the investment that the company makes in talent, development and inclusion. Here are some examples: I was sponsored in more than one occasion to attend the Women Leadership Conference; I am enrolled in “Ready to Rise” which is an internal leadership development program for women; I am part of “Inspirando Latinas”, which is an Employee Impact Group that empowers and inspires the career development of Latinas across the organization. The company also offers an opportunity to create a Career Vision and Individual Leadership Plan and provides leadership support to achieve those career goals. I also participate in Wellness Classes, like Yoga and Bootcamp led by other employees so that I can maintain my wellbeing and stay healthy. Lastly, working for a company that offers an All-Flex Policy, gives me the flexibility to adjust my schedule as needed to be a mom and attend school events, or work from home when one of my daughters is sick. This is the best company I ever worked for, and the most supportive for women, in my opinion. The investment in people and the commitment to women’s growth is real. I love to work for Aristocrat!
