Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy Execution in the Office of Global Strategy Delivery, this role leads the strategic planning and implementation of large-scale initiatives at the enterprise level. The Senior Director of Global Strategy Delivery will have a strong background in stakeholder management, trusted advisership, and leading initiatives that deliver business value. The Senior Director structures and orchestrates initiatives alongside key stakeholders across Aristocrat. This role requires critical thinking to shape initiatives, from idea to post-implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in cross-functional team leadership and management consulting (internal or external), preferably with media, gaming, or high technology industries. To succeed in the role, the Senior Director will need to be someone who can thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and distill complex problems into actionable work and business value. This role is central to the execution of the corporate strategy and will require a focus on both successful transformation and on supporting the ongoing maturity of Aristocrat’s capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with key stakeholders to define and manage strategic initiatives while leading the teams responsible for the successful delivery of these enterprise-wide programs of work.

  • Partner closely with initiative stakeholders to ensure initiative alignment with business goals; build and maintain a network of stakeholder relationships

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, ensuring team members align and work towards the goals of a strategic initiative

  • Identify and manage risks and issues, and develop and implement risk management

  • Deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and to required performance metrics

  • Manage initiative resources to meet value targets defined for an initiative

  • Establish and present regular updates to executive leadership

  • Identify value-add opportunities and think “outside the box” to deliver insights to business partners

  • Proactively perform research, provide templates, or develop systems or structures to facilitate progress on an initiative

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of program management experience, including managing large-scale initiatives with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in structuring and delivering strategic initiatives using agile, hybrid, or traditional methodologies

  • Experience developing and implementing processes, tools, and templates at an enterprise level

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders

  • Experience influencing, applying emotional intelligence, overcoming resistance to change, and partnering for stakeholders’ success

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following capability areas: Operating model strategy and implementation, technology strategy and implementation, cost optimization strategy.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a cross-functional team

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage risks and issues

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree highly desired

  • Complex Program Management - Ability to shape and execute large-scale initiatives. Experience setting up and managing program plans, resources, and status updates

  • Trusted Advisory - Knowledge and ability to effectively partner and recommend strategies and tactics to business leaders; ability to build an open network and to inform stakeholder decision-making

  • Executive Facilitation - Ability to bring people together and enable cross-functional collaboration and advancement of a strategic initiative. Demonstrated ability to synthesize and convey ideas concisely

  • Change Enablement - Ability to help others overcome resistance and adapt to changes

  • Emotional Intelligence - Ability to perceive, assess, and help manage the emotions of self and others while exhibiting resilience

  • Low Self-Orientation - Equally comfortable giving or receiving direction, leading or contributing. Comfortable operating in a decentralized environment and managing through influence.

Pay Range

$209,066 - $388,267 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
