The Director Integration Assurance will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of sustainable finance initiatives and finance projects within the finance team. This role supports the Vice President Finance and is responsible for tracking deliverables, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory disclosure and assurance requirements.

The primary focus is to coordinate all key deliverables across Global Finance to implement sustainable strategies. This position involves overseeing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations in the finance team’s activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve our sustainability goals. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with various departments, analyzing business unit requirements, and ensuring that financial initiatives align with both business objectives and regulatory requirements. The priority for the role is ESG however, other projects may be given over time relating to key finance priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead strategic finance projects, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals and financial governance requirements.

  • Oversee the execution of ESG finance initiatives, ensuring compliance with global regulatory disclosure and assurance standards.

  • Work closely with the finance leadership team, VP Finance focused on sustainability reporting and assurance to ensure we identify and cover all finance team requirements

  • Oversee and manage the timeline, scope and ESG deliverables of the finance team and ensure alignment with the Sustainable project team

  • Lead efforts across internal teams and maintains a project tracker with regular updates on progress, milestones, and risks

  • Providing clear Finance requirements-related activities to ensure Finance objectives are being realized.

  • Define, track, and communicate integration progress to key stakeholders and leadership providing status dashboard updates for steercos and various meetings

  • Document sustainable processes, practices and procedures as needed

  • Monitor and consult with technical team to understand regulatory framework and disclosure requirements globally

  • Work with finance teams to ensure adequate team coverage across regions to deliver on ESG requirements and other projects allocated to this role

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure clarity and drive collaborative solutions

  • Ensure the finance team can deliver any data and management reporting deliverables by supporting the collection, validation, and analysis of sustainability-related data

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve data reporting, improve transparency and ensure financial operations are set up to be able to deliver on objectives

  • Keep up with developments in sustainable finance, industry best practices, and emerging trends

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness in meeting sustainability goals

  • Develop, maintain, and review resource management plans VP Sustainable Finance, planning and anticipating constraints and optimizing bandwidth in consideration of the 12–18-month roadmap

  • Develop, monitor, and report on budgets for programs and projects, forecasting future financial needs and resource allocations

  • Provide regular feedback and escalate issues with possible solutions to VP regarding significant gaps, risks, and proposed resolution

  • Recommend processes and tools for efficiency within the department as well for stakeholders

  • Support business leaders in decision-making and the ability to explain analysis results to non-technical audiences

  • Partner with finance and sustainability team to develop and maintain a Finance process document repository to support sustainable practices and meet governance requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a closely related field. Masters a plus

  • Project Management certification preferred

  • 10 years’ experience in Project Management, or related roles

  • Portfolio and Program Management of Process and Digital/IT related initiatives

  • Proven proficiency in soliciting business requirements and process mapping

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in broad finance roles, covering both financial and management accounting.

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Well organized and delivery focused

  • Effective and collaborative communication and writing skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise (& challenge when necessary) with business operations

  • Ability to build, maintain and manage stakeholder relationships

  • Technical acumen and ability to converse on technical integration topics

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and takes initiative whenever an opportunity presents itself.

  • Self-motivated, drives to completion / resolution

Pay Range

$133,354 - $247,657 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
