Expression of Interest: Student Services Administrator
About the role:
The Student Services Administrator is responsible for providing a broad range of complex administrative support, high level customer service and efficient administration and operations. The position is the primary contact for all student support services associated with AFS courses and is responsible for the coordination of the end-to-end student services and administration throughout the student lifecycle from enrolment to graduation. The Student Services Administrator is a member of the Administration team of the AFS department and some of the key responsibilities are:
- Provide high quality customer service which enhances the initial and ongoing perception of BHI
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Administrator and leadership team to provide a range of administrative support including financial administration.
- Monitor the Culinary Arts inbox and communicate effectively with stakeholders to offer open and clear communication between faculties, employers, ASSNs and students.
- Provide timely and efficient student administration services using the student management system, including information sessions, enrolments, recording evidence of participation, course exits and withdrawals, fees and award administration.
- Prepare a range of documentation as needed, including forms, letters and documents, spreadsheets, developing and maintaining databases as required and performing, photocopying, faxing data entry, reporting and mail distribution duties as required.
- Provide reception & administrative support for practical placements and commercial operations including invoicing and reporting.
- Assist with compliance and audit sample preparation.
- Assist in enhancing the Box Hill Institute relationship with external stakeholders by liaising with students, ASSN and employers where relevant, regarding absences, lateness, or timetable changes, and arranging appointments with students as required.

About You:
- Current Box Hill Institute Employee
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Administration and Work experience or suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a range of administrative services to a high standard. Experience in administration of educational delivery and record management is required
