Meaningful Work From Day One
The Maintenance Inventory Administrator will be responsible for the management of parts and inventory control for the Maintenance Department at Brown-Forman Cooperage. This individual will be responsible for receiving, quality checks, stocking, organizing, inventorying all parts, materials, and supplies for equipment maintenance and project work. Additional responsibilities include new item initialization, OEM conversion, new equipment spare parts administration, chemical inventory and SDS administration.

What You Can Expect
Responsible for inventory control system from entry of individual items to maintaining accurate storeroom inventory and records. This includes all chemicals, consumables, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Work with engineering and maintenance on new equipment spare parts by helping to determine new items, identifying existing like inventory, establish min/max levels and entering new items in CMMS database. Develop, create, and run eMaint reports for inventory, usage, and work order status. Receives purchased goods and receivables against Coupa requisitions, and stocks these items on shelves and various locations in storeroom. Assemble and label cabinets with locations and item part numbers. Administer the replenishment process for spare parts by ensuring items have the correct quantity on hand in inventory and determine min/max levels based on equipment and usage. Support maintenance technicians with issuing parts to work orders. Maintain the staging and pre-kitting of parts for planned work orders. Be an active participant in Safety, HK&S, Quality, and Process Improvement initiatives. On an emergency basis, expedites needed parts, supplies, and material. May also pick up and deliver these items. Generates requisitions for spare parts, materials, and supplies in eMaint to maintain inventory, and provides to Buyer for PO issuance. Coordinates with Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving to track delivery of purchased items. Contact vendors & suppliers to obtain quotes for needed items. Monitor performance of VMI vendors to ensure needed levels of materials and accurate invoicing. Assist other Maintenance personnel in locating and/or requesting needed items for jobs either out of stock or through Purchasing Buyer. Performs periodic physical inventory counts, and reconciles actual to eMaint inventory. Audits items in eMaint inventory, and corrects physical locations and other inaccuracies. Ongoing communication with Management/Operations to ensure efficient operation of facility and to provide updates on inventories. Tracks and monitors parts/equipment for repair or replacement (results in cost savings). Creates work orders in eMaint as needed. Works closely with Maintenance Leads to maintain Preventive Maintenance schedules. Assist with maintenance of technical documentation library. Train coworkers on proper utilization of eMaint. Cleaning, sweeping, and organizing storeroom to make inventory items easier to locate. Performs other duties as assigned with a customer-focused attitude. Physical removal of obsolete inventory and electronic removal. Interface with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization. Communicate and write reports in maintenance terminology. Keep detailed records and manipulate data accurately. Must be able to work with teammates, take direction from managers, and keep required work schedules. General mechanical aptitude and knowledge of the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, conveying systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to perform Maintenance Planning role. Participate in creation, planning, scheduling, implementation, and follow-up on PM’s, corrective work orders, and emergency work orders. Backup for Procurement Specialist during vacations, absence, etc.

We Are Looking For People Who

Have a High School/GED/Secondary School and 3+ years’ experience in inventory control management. 2+ years’ experience in industrial equipment parts inventory and/or maintenance organization
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Google. Experience with eMaint or other CMMS system.

2+ years’ experience in industrial equipment parts inventory and/or maintenance organization. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Google. Experience with eMaint or other CMMS system.
