Express Service Advisors at Carter Subaru manage approximately 20-25 repair orders per day, all express service, menu maintenance and light repair. This position includes greeting the customer, writing repair orders, managing additional work needed, advising maintenance needs, proving clear explanations to customers and invoicing/cashiering. Also includes answering phones and scheduling. Shifts are rotating 4/10's. Pay is $23.00 per hour, plus commission based on customer satisfaction and ranges from $56K-76K/year. This position is an excellent place to learn the skills needed to become a service advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee flow of Express Service.
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
  • Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Manage repair orders and cars as the work through the shop for maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Previous car dealership experience preferred but not required
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Time management skills
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • WA state driver's license is required
  • Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
  • Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
