As the fastest-growing cloud-managed networking team in the world, our platform and networking products are making cloud-managed IT a reality. As part of an entrepreneurial team, you will provide change management solutions to our global Sales team. Success will be measured by your ability to guide strategic behavioral changes that will increase the success, adaptability, and resiliency of our sales organization, traits that are crucial to Cisco’s continued success as the leader of Enterprise Networking.
We are looking for an experienced, results-driven, adaptive, and enthusiastic leader to evangelize our Meraki MEDDPICC strategy with greater Cisco. You will co-create a strategy and plan with Meraki and interested Cisco parties to determine a unified MEDDPICC sales framework for Cisco sellers. The work will cover the full life cycle of projects and is inherently collaborative, including everything from reviewing existing materials, analyzing knowledge gaps, co-creating change management strategies, handling collaborators, and delivering MEDDPICC solutions to the benefit of our learning community. The right candidate will be passionate about evolving the status quo and developing your employees, and interested in building a long-term relationship with Cisco Meraki.
What you will do:
- Build a plan for how to successfully collaborate and lead a unified MEDDPICC strategy with greater Cisco.
- Be the orchestrator among various Meraki and Cisco Sales segments that are venturing into various phases of their MEDDPICC journey, bring standardization and excellence to a unified world-class ongoing MEDDPICC experience.
- Build on existing efforts and implement MEDDPICC as the official sales qualification framework for Meraki Sales, including measuring adoption via SFDC, cultivating grassroots efforts across Meraki Sales, consulting with Cisco collaborators on their outstanding rollout efforts, and evolving the impact of using a “common language” across Meraki and Cisco.
- Cultivate strong working relationships across the organization, including Sales Transformation, Sales leadership, frontline managers and sellers, Cisco gSET, Sales Operations, and others.
- Communicate credibly as a student of the enterprise networking industry, including the past, present, and future role of Cisco and Cisco Meraki.
- Proactively develop a working environment that is productive, respectful, collaborative, inclusive, and accountable.
- Scale the influence of our small but mighty Sales Enablement team by actively pursuing opportunities to showcase the impact of our work.
You are:
- Fiercely collaborative. Take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of others. Invite and act on different points of view. Quickly establish relationships that enable you to give feedback and mentorship. You listen!
- A Career Champion. Encourage your employees to define and pursue their goals, and do everything within your power to help them achieve. Balance the need to see results with understanding that work-life balance is in the best interests of the employee and organization.
- A Strategic Planner. Be passionate about our business results while never compromising customer, partner, and team relationships.
- A Problem-Solver. Inspiring change energizes you! Continually think about the best outcome for longevity and scalability. Love experimenting, solicit feedback, and learn from each iteration.
- Creative. Can you see a problem from different perspectives and can you cultivate an environment that fosters creative thought and action in others? Be aware of the latest trends and are always thinking about ways to innovate your work.
- Phenomenally Clear. Able to listen and distill the perspective of many voices into clear, eloquent points which are practical. Simplify everything into practical, encouraged action.
- Caring. Passionate about the end-user experience and the success of your employees. Earn trust and influence the business.
- Brave. Be an advocate of the team charter and are willing and able to share your thoughts when at odds. Address disagreements quickly, constructively, and proactively, and ask for help when project risks arise.
- Inclusive. Recognise quickly your peers for their efforts and excel in partnering with multiple team members to bring projects to completion and align towards Meraki’s core value of ‘Everybody In’.
- Resilient. Sweat the details and plan for contingencies. Be flexible, like thinking on your feet, and can adjust to the unexpected.

Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
