Cisco’s Common Hardware Group develops the silicon, hardware systems, and optics for Cisco’s core networking products. CHG’s Cisco Wireless and Meraki Hardware department designs, manufactures, and maintains Cisco’s wireless and Meraki product portfolio. The Strategy & Operations team is looking for a Business Analysis Manager to support the management, tracking, and analysis of departmental budgeting and related business transformation. You will be successful if you’re a quick learner, analytical thinker, committed to process improvement, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and can build positive relationships across teams.
You Will
- Drive transformation of quarterly forecasting processes in the department
- Develop and deliver training on new budgeting tools and processes to stakeholders
- Establish procedures to track and report on progress against financial targets
- Develop strategies to optimize actual spending to align with budgets
- Analyz data to identify patterns, and develop measures to promote improvements in forecasting
- Establish procedures to ensure purchase order requisitions are closed in a timely manner
- Support procurement process transformation across the department
- Maintain solid relationships with inter- and intra- departmental partners
You Have
- 7+ years of experience in a budgeting, finance, procurement, business analyst role or similar
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office mastery (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Bonus If You Have
- Knowledge of Cisco’s budgeting and procurement tools (e.g., Budget, Pronto, QPC, Clarity, SmartBuy, iProcurement, PowerBI, etc.)
- Proven track record of being a change agent and role model by systematically driving successful tool adoption

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
