About the role:
Cisco Meraki is looking for a purposeful, well-organized, and influential teammate to shape the strategy & execution rituals of our world-class support organization.
You will be working alongside with our global Support teams and you’ll directly feel the positive impact that your work has on our users!
Along the way, we need your help to partner in facilitating the strategy planning and refining the strategic Objectives and Key Results (OKR) process that will shape the future of our Support organization with a direct line to the senior leadership team.
A typical work week might consist of:
Preparing an engaging sequence of workshops where the directors define next quarter’s strategic priorities and finalizing the detailed agenda
Putting the final touches on the strategic quarterly closure communication
Proposing Senior Managers an improvement for the next strategy planning cycle, after receiving feedback from a group of managers
Having a 1:1 with a Senior Manager to help them write a qualitative objective and its success metrics
Primary responsibilities
60% OKR and Strategy planning work
Be the Subject Matter Expert for all matter related to OKRs
Facilitate the annual and quarterly strategic discussions by helping with setting meaningful OKRs and partner with Project Management leaders to bring key projects and programs into the strategy planning discussions
Drive OKR adoption through change management
Be the ambassador of OKRs across Support, by seizing every opportunity to relate OKRs to Support vision and mission
Develop OKR engagement, accountability and alignment across all teams through coaching, collaboration and check-ins with leaders
Run OKR review meetings, always trying to make the best use of everyone’s time
Employ your superb written presentation skills to communicate appropriately about Support vision, mission, and strategy, and how OKRs and foundational projects relate to them
Be brave and challenge Senior Managers to ensure that objectives are clear and outcomes are measurable
Solicit feedback and adopt a continuous improvement approach to constantly fine-tune our strategy planning process and OKR framework, and onboard Senior Support leadership on the journey
Document all strategic discussions, feedback, process and framework improvements
Make recommendations on user-friendly, efficient ways to capture and structure OKRs in the tool
Collaborate with other Cisco OKR coaches to ensure strategic alignment and share practices

Join forces alongside Support Managers and teams to drive pivotal initiatives
Employ superb written and meeting skills to quickly resolve discovered issues or perceived bottlenecks
Bring your sharp and expansive thinking skills to brainstorm multiple approaches/solutions to complex initiatives
Navigate trade-offs, promote the agreed-upon solution and devise delivery, communication and change management plans
20% Professional development
Stay well-versed in the latest theory and standard methodologies in program, strategy execution and alignment, and OKR management
Find the intersection between your personal development interests and our business needs to identify side projects
Preferred qualifications:
2+ years of significant program management work spanning teams (Product, UX, Support, Engineering, etc.) to deliver features/products or processes
2+ years of strategic planning experience using the OKR framework and/or dedicated professional development/training in OKR methodology
1+ year training, coaching and/or change management experience
Polished presentation, meeting planning, and communication experience across various audiences (in-team, cross-team, executive, etc.)
Strong facilitation skills and experience with driving engaging workshops in a remote setting
Data-driven mentality
Positive, engaging, tactful
Creative thinking - you have often solved problems differently than "the way it’s always been done."
Comfortable with ambiguity and you have a distinct passion for finding efficiencies
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strategic consulting experience is a big plus Prefer experience with Support or Service organizations.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
