As our Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for inventory operations processes such as maintaining and reporting inventory levels, inbound management, reverse logistics, and performing inventory transactions in Meraki’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. You will collaborate with multiple departments and distribution centers to maintain global inventory operations. You are a hardworking individual, who pays great attention to detail, has excellent problem-solving abilities, and loves challenges!
Responsibilities:
- Assist leadership with team efforts and coordination of programs including, but not limited to, new product launch, end-of-life, quality assurance, and other escalations
- Conduct reporting and ERP transactions in support of Reverse Logistics efforts
- Inventory management – assist Recon Specialist with cycle counting and annual physical inventory at our DCs (Distribution Centers) as needed
- Inbound management – monitor for new and existing inbound shipments and perform supporting ERP transactions
- Reverse logistics support – submit reverse logistics requests (to the DCs and perform supporting ERP transactions, international shipping document creation
- ERP transaction – understanding of and ability to transact transfers, receipts, adjustments, and reporting
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future - Position does not provide sponsorship
- 3-4 years of experience in inventory operations
- Excellent organization, presentation, and communications skills (phone, email, meetings)
- Deep understanding of operational processes and the ability to speak on those processes
- Experience with ERP (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) Data Analytics (Tableau, PowerBI, Excel), and CRM (Salesforce)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
