About the team
The P&C team at Coles are trusted advisors to the business and provide tactical and commercial advice when it’s needed most. We are currently looking for a P&C Project Lead to join our team to partner with the business and provide support on a range of interesting and complex special projects. The role reports directly into the P&C Special Projects Manager and the scope of this role sits within Coles Group Limited, supporting all brands across the Coles Group Portfolio (i.e. Express, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, RROA, Chef Fresh and Supermarkets).
About the role
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with high profile stakeholders on their most important and challenging business issues.
- You will be responsible for supporting and/or delivering high-impact projects related to compliance and governance, as well as other areas of business transformation that impact thousands of team members across the team member lifecycle.
- Each day, you will be working with senior stakeholders and engaging cross-functionally across Coles to design, develop and implement solutions to challenges. Responsibilities will entail a mix of strategic compliance/transformation initiatives, continuous improvement, and the management of cyclical compliance activities.
- You will conduct complex analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) to develop actionable insights, and develop Executive level presentations and reports.
- You’ll work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in the pursuit of solving problems.
About you and your skills
- A highly motivated self-starter and strong team player who likes to challenge themselves, who can think strategically but enjoy ‘rolling up their sleeves’ and working closely with stakeholders to get the job done
- Hands-on experience in complex cross-functional projects and programs involving business transformation, strategy and/or compliance and risk, preferably in the Retail/Consumer sectors
- A desire to take early responsibility, and aspiration for long-term leadership roles.
- Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Capabilities in PMO, project management and/or agile PM delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, as well a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
