About The Role
As the Ethical Sourcing Governance and Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to lead a team of specialists and program managers in designing and delivering the ethical sourcing strategy for suppliers of food and beverages across our business, as well as provide expert oversight for the governance activities relating to the group (including benchmarking, internal and external education, modern slavery reporting, policy and stakeholder engagement).
You’ll also:
- Lead, Synergise, and bring together two emerging teams to create a great team culture.
- Represent the Ethical Sourcing team on a weekly basis in front of key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic recommendations in a timely fashion to the broader Ethical Sourcing team, Business Units and GNFR procurers on supplier non-conformance and methods for supporting supplier to become compliant.
- Use expert data management skills to provide accurate and concise updates on recommendations and next steps for all interactions.
- Communicate, liaise, coach and support suppliers and business unit stakeholders on Program compliance issues and broader compliance requirements.
- Identify coaching needs, develop, and deliver key information to suppliers.
About You And Your Skills
- Experience in an ethical sourcing, risk, compliance, legal, quality, or equivalent role.
- Strong leadership as well a strategic mindset to be able to foresee market trends
- Skilled at preparing program policy, documentation
- Background in ethical sourcing including understanding of international standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management Negotiation and Influencing skills
