The Digital Engineering Team within Downer are a highly capable team with specialists in the fields of CAD, BIM and GIS looking to add value to a diverse group of projects across New Zealand.
With access to a wide range of digital tools and subject matter experts across the business there is a real opportunity to learn about new emerging technology in the various fields that make up Digital Engineering.
We are looking for junior, intermediate and senior 2D or 3D CAD and BIM modellers\drafters to join the team based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You will need:
- A genuine zest for working in the field of Digital Engineering
- Ability to work on your own or in a team
- Strong communication, time management skills and initiative
- Ability to learn new tools and ways of working
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years proven experience in infrastructure design or construction
- Experience in the use of CAD or BIM tools
- Proven practical experience in producing 2D or 3D models and drawings
- Have a BE qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering an advantage
- The ability to plan work which includes interfaces with several different parties and work collaboratively
- Strong communication and relationship building
