Downer is seeking an Electrical Fitter to provide a high level of trade competency to safely and efficiency install primary and secondary electrical equipment within Zone Substations and Terminal Stations, reporting into our Dandenong office. In this role, you will be responsible for installation and maintenance tasks in accordance with appropriate standards, work practices and regulations. The ability to identify and implement risk control measures to assigned work tasks and resolving site issues will be essential. You will have strong practical knowledge around the installation of High Voltage primary equipment and associated cabling. With Downer’s Zero Harm culture at the forefront, you will actively participate in and promote our safety standards and improvements initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Fitter essential.
- A Class Electrical Licence essential.
- Valid drivers license essential.
- Full VESI Training and Authorities (SFT, EAP) Compliance for field work.
- Green Book and Blue Book trained.
- Practical knowledge of installation of High Voltage primary equipment and associated cabling.
- Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of quality management principles, OH&S and environmental awareness.
