At Finder, we believe that our success thrives by the crew we are able to build. Your role is to help us develop the culture in Finder US, based in New York, which supports us in attracting and retaining the world class crew we need to drive the rocketship.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, innovative individual to join our People & Culture team.
You will be responsible for maintaining our New York office, organising team social events, owning the onboarding and offboarding process of our crew and ensuring our New York office is a productive, safe and fun place to work. You will play a key role in creating opportunities to enhance connections and collaboration amongst our crew and keeping the office running smoothly.
In this diverse role, you will learn the fundamentals of People & Culture by supporting the Finder crew through all stages of the employee life-cycle as well as performing a wide variety of administrative and system tasks. This role is perfect for someone with an eye for detail and a “can-do” attitude.
To ensure you can deliver the best crew experience possible you’ll need to be on the ground, enabling you to be reactive as well as proactive. Therefore, the successful candidate will be someone who wants to work from our New York office and is happy to be in-office every day.
Responsibilities:
P&C Administration:
- Generate all employee related paperwork for the US crew - employment contracts, job offers, addendums, reference and employment confirmations letters.
- Maintain data integrity and update employee data across P&C systems.
- Assist with a variety of programs including performance reviews, onboarding and offboarding and global mobility.
- Support the People team as required for specific projects and initiatives.
Crew experience:
- Coordinate office social events regularly, with bigger events at Christmas and summer.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and travel arrangements for team members.
- Support managers and IT in onboarding and offboarding crew.
- Coordinate with the local crew and global P&C team to run relevant, engaging and informative DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging) activities.
- Ensuring the office is fully stocked with everything our crew needs, from laptop chargers to snacks.
- Managing our IT asset register
- Managing the facilities contractors for our New York office, ensuring office maintenance and repairs are handled appropriately
- Coordinate office fit outs, upgrades and moves.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Relevant degree in HR, a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Desire to learn and grow in People & Culture, demonstrated curiosity and business acumen.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the skills to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Previous experience with office management or P&C administration would be a plus.
