Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) helps Microsoft customers around the world get the best outcomes from their investments in the latest Microsoft cloud technologies. As MCS Business Program Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining a deep connection with the US Account Delivery Executive POD to understand their business and operational support needs and help them in achieving their business goals related to revenue recognition and cloud consumption forecasting. You will be driving planning, execution, performance tracking, and where necessary initiate remediation efforts with the teams to achieve the FY Services scorecard and P&L goals as set by the WW teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Business Performance Insight: Work across the Area to standardize, simplify, rationalize, and organize reporting to improve delivery execution by driving analysis and insights to advise the Services Practice Leader (SPL) and Delivery Management Manager of execution insights
- Support the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes
- Drive internal processes related to MCS invoices reconciliation with the internal tools
- Work on internal processes optimization projects including also production of deliverables represented in excel or BI dashboards
- Partner with Account Delivery Execuitves (ADEs) and Area Consumption Lead (ACL) to ensure proper forecasting for the consumption of our cloud services based on MCS delivery planning
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in a client-facing, business planning, program management and/or sales operations role
- Experience and deep knowledge within Services Delivery Management & Business Planning
- Must be able to understand business metrics, customer and market trends and deliver end-to-end deep data analysis and actionable strategic insights
- Executive exposure and cross-functional stakeholder management
- Excellent knowledge of MS office suite
- Focus on providing process optimization by understanding the desired business outcome
- Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalent
- Strong communication, consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills
