Global Services Operations (GSO) within Microsoft Operations is focused on building industry-leading capabilities to make it easier for customers to do business with Microsoft and deploy and support our latest technologies. We are hiring a Program Management Leader to head a team of incredibly talented and experienced process and implementation managers who work closely with Consulting and Support Operations & Tools Teams, Field Landing and Finance Operations to effectively land change in our regional operating centers (ROCs) and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the team to be highly motivated, take on larger and more complex programmatic change and raise the bar on quality of program design, build and launch to drive high impact business results.
- Foster and lead D&I, team collaboration, WHI and employee development
- Lead the Operational transformation of the operational model for our consulting and support businesses through a team of process and launch Managers and in conjunction with strategic corporate partners & MS Business Operations
- Influence the design of business solutions (offerings, programs, processes, policies) to ensure they are compliant, operationally viable and customer focused.
- Leverage a strong commercial understanding to net out the impact of change on GESO operating costs. Influence Corporate Program owners to deliver operational improvements for the lead to cash processes, including increased automation and lean processes.
- Balance perspectives to resolve conflicting information, gain consensus and support sound decision making.
- Make measurable strides towards process standardization and streamlining
- Lead the team to land complex and major change that impact the ROC, establishing conditions of success (COS) to land operational change with appropriate controls, ensuring appropriate tollgates and executive governance, and driving deployment and adoption metrics post launch.
- Create synergies with, and leverage the expertise of, other Operations divisions/teams
- Manage the team and ensure they execute quality project management in accordance with MS Business Ops launch framework (ODLC)
- Drive capacity planning and load balancing work across the team

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Program Management and/or the Services Operations organization
- A minimum of 10 years of operations, services or consulting experience
- People management, people development or mentoring experience ideal
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/Masters preferred
- Industry experience in professional services
- Process design experience for the professional services industry is desirable. Certification or experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Total Quality Management, design thinking would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in Process Engineering and Launch management preferred
