The Office Platform Core (OPC) team believes that the versatility and power of Office can be amplified by the power of extensibility. We are seeking an Engineering Manager to focus on the web area for the Office Platform.

You will lead a strong and experienced team of engineers that deliver the critical components of extensibility of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Online and contribute to our mission across platforms (PC, Mac, iOS, and Android). The OPC team owns the Office Platform end-to-end, from client experiences and developer APIs, Runtime, Lifecycle and Delivery, to integrations with the metaOS and Loop components and a focus on the web hosting platform for Office. Our mission is to delight all Office users - business and consumer, 1st and 3rd party developers. • Work closely with other senior leaders and team members to shape the strategy and architectural investments for the Office Platform.

• Cooperate with engineers and disciplines to deliver reliable designs and code
• Be committed to delivering the best experience for our customers through a data driven approach.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing software in Java, C#, Typescript, C, C++, or any other object-oriented programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and implementing software in C#, Typescript, or Java
• Passion to work on hard core technical problems related to building the extensibility platform across different platforms: Web, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
• Passion to collaborate in teams and delight customers with high quality software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing complex projects involving multiple engineers.
