We are hiring a Business Operations Program Manager who will be a key member of the Corporate Functions Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team. They will drive the team's rhythm of business, and operational excellence initiatives. They will be a self-starter who drives results through engagement with partners and stakeholders. They will also be a resourceful problem-solver and collaborator with strong program management, communication, process improvement and analytical skills that drive impact. This role reports to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition, Corporate Functions and can be located anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
Business Operations
- Manages the team's rhythm of business (ROB), budgets and resource planning. Works with cross-organization/team counterparts for business events, fiscal year planning, business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities.
- Ensures alignment for strategy initiatives across functions and identifies best practices for strategy execution. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contributes to initiatives that drive operational excellence and employee engagement.
- Reviews adherence to privacy and compliance.
Maximizing/ Extending the Leaders
- Builds networks to foster strong relationships that support execution across the business.
- Leverages knowledge of team goals to ensure team activities are aligned to objectives.
- Manages communications.
Organizational Health
- Monitors organization health and supports culture initiatives.
Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives
- Engages in and contributes to cross-team projects to meet business needs.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
◦ OR equivalent experience.

- Familiarity with recruiting or recruiting operations

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams and processes
- Strong analytical and reporting skills to drive decision-making and prioritization

- Effective communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation/deck creation
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations with competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable mechanisms and standard operating procedures
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $119,200 and $178,800.
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
