Games are the reason players come to Xbox and content is at the heart of everything we do. As the senior product marketing manager, you will partner directly with Xbox Game Studios and our regional marketing teams around the world to establish marketing strategy and successfully deliver hit games.
The senior marketing manager will develop and execute go-to-market and lifecycle plans for Xbox Games Studios titles on console, PC and Game Pass. They will have a CMO mindset with the ability to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities that balance the needs of players, the game, the brand, and company objectives for maximum impact. Equally important is the ability to lead and build consensus amongst a diverse group of stakeholders.
This position demands a strong mix of communications and strategy skills, experience driving marketing programs and campaigns, and familiarity with the game development process. Successful candidates will have a strong marketing track record of go-to-market plan development and execution. Also required is experience working with game development teams and integrating consumer perspectives into the game development process.
You have demonstrated your ability to define clear goals and develop high-impact marketing strategies to achieve those goals, grounded in a deep understanding of the target audience and partners in the ecosystem. Most importantly, you have a passion for what you do.

Responsibilities
- Lead positioning, consumer targeting, and product messaging to drive brand growth, content development, and go-to-market strategies
- Partner with the marketing teams at Xbox and the studio’s leadership team to create and drive multi-year product roadmaps to grow audience, increase engagement, and make fans for life
- Build, direct, inform, and inspire integrated marketing communications, events, and programs that are unique and deliver a differentiated voice for the brand
- Use player data, market and competitive analysis, and other insights to drive strategic decisions and outcomes
- Drive partnership opportunities that create culturally resonant moments for our audience
- Coach and grow an internal team of studio communications professionals
- Collaborate with other studio leaders to help steer the studio, resolve problems, and model studio values
- Define and own annual marketing budget
- Model a diverse and inclusive culture
- Value integrity, act ethically, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications
We are looking for an innovative, creative, and collaborative marketer looking for their next challenge -- ideally someone who enjoys bringing consumer insights to life with innovative programs meant to delight fans while working in a small studio environment focused on orchestrating executional excellence.
- Proven leadership of brand development and the delivery integrated marketing campaigns
- Proven ability to lead and partner with game studios and creative teams
- 5+ years of consumer product or brand marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of planning and executing creative marketing programs
- 3+ years of experience developing, presenting, and launching PC and console game/brand strategies and roll out plans
- Impeccable project management skills and a high degree of comfort in managing multiple projects
- A strong foundational understanding of both consumer insights and business analytics
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively across a number of internal and external teams
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, extremely organized, and detail-oriented leader with experience managing others
