We are seeking a MCEM Experiences & Governance Lead to own strategy and implementation for the MCEM experience in our field systems and tools (MCEM Portal, MSX) and the analytics through which we measure MCEM success and drive innovation. This role will also drive the MCEM Governance Council, a senior panel of stakeholders that steer MCEM strategy and execution for MCAPS.

About the Organization: The Strategy & Operations (S&O) team's purpose is to simplify & optimize the Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions (MCAPS) operating model and develop strategies to empower the most productive and trusted commercial business on the planet. The team is responsible for Cross MCAPS Strategy Development, Project Execution and ROI, Integrated Planning, Commercial Systems and Business Intelligence, Change Governance and Landing and Worldwide M&O and Field Operations.

About the Team: The Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM) team, within S&O, leads strategy, governance, and execution of Microsoft’s customer engagement methodology (MCEM). Microsoft’s new engagement model puts the customer at the center of what we do and mobilizes our field as One Microsoft, leading with a consultative approach to drive business value. Through MCEM, our customers and partners experience greater consistency, connection, and value from Microsoft. The remit for the team is planning & design for MCEM and driving execution excellence across MCAPS, in partnership with our stakeholders.

About the Role: The MCEM Experiences & Governance Lead owns strategy and implementation of the entire MCEM experience across the global field organization, working with CS&BI to ensure best in class systems, content, and analytical insights to increase MCAPS adoption and seller productivity. This role also drives the MCAPS Governance Council, a body of senior stakeholders that steer execution and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert for MCEM systems and tools, working with CS&BI to enable a best in class field experience to drive adoption, productivity, and operational efficiencies
  • Implement governance processes to ensure field content is aligned to the MCEM methodology and standards via the MCEM portal and connected systems
  • Provide thought leadership and produce collateral that drives MCEM clarity across MCAPS
  • Build success criteria and performance metrics (OKRs)
  • Optimize the use of data analytics, field insights and other signals to derive insights that help identify current and future MCEM risks and support innovation
  • Drive strategic alignment and execution excellence among cross-functional MCAPS stakeholders by leading the MCEM Governance Council
  • Represent business insights/feedback in key leadership forums with executive leadership

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience across strategy, sales, and Go-To-Market roles.
  • Passion and expertise to analyze and decompose complex systems to design and refine towards a desired outcome
  • Proven ability to understand strategic implications of change, lead cross-functional teams, and provide leadership to overcome barriers and achieve results through individual and broader team efforts
  • Proven ability to leverage data analytics to derive meaningful insights that steer decision making and innovation
