Microsoft’s Global Demand Center (GDC) team within the Cloud Marketing Group is responsible for driving scaled digital marketing and sales capabilities for the company that allow us to engage in a more personal way with our customers while driving hard, measured business outcomes. The GDC is in the midst of transforming our Azure customer success manager (CSM) program responsible for overseeing Microsoft’s unmanaged customers. This is a high impact position where you will define, land and optimize a critical operational component of the Azure customer success program. In this role you will partner with stakeholders across the GDC Azure Direct Team, Digital Cloud Acquisition (Sales), lead operations, and Finance to define the end-to-end processes for identifying, qualifying, and routing new Azure customers into our customer success motion. You will drive incredible sales output by partnering with Digital Cloud Acquisition (Sales) to drive alignment with our fiscal priorities. You will partner with Azure Direct team to align our strategy and provide customer-centric insights such as buying patterns, seller readiness and content required to land our value proposition. We are looking for an experienced business manager with experience driving strategy, business performance and running processes that span organizational boundaries with exceptional skills in building and landing execution plans, communicating across a wide spectrum of audiences and generating understanding and engagement within those audiences.
Responsibilities
This role requires a strong program and operational management while having strong business acumen for GTM and Sales motions. You will be directly responsible for the strategy and performance of the Azure Customer Success Account Intake and Qualification Process supporting newly acquired Azure customers. You will assist in resolving issues raised by sales teams that impact or improve lead flow or driving new workflows to improve operations. You will regularly communicate with executives, including MBRs on how the Marketing and Sales is going within this channel.
- Design and implement account intake and qualification process to maximize impact of our team of global account qualifiers
- Define and execute an ongoing operational rhythm engaging weekly with account qualifiers and management to ensure ensuing portfolios are balanced and being effectively executed for optimal capacity and throughput.
- Own business requirements for changes/updates to the CSM technology stack to support account qualification and routing.
- Define key performance indicators (KPI's) and partner with reporting and analytics to develop measurement programs to track progress
- Synthesize program data and insights into executive updates on performance, opportunities for growth, and identified areas of potential risks, and present monthly results against objectives in executive forums (monthly business reviews)
